The last seminar I held was especially fun since it was the first snow of the season. I taught how to photograph just about anywhere, as you can see with the snowball fights below! Emily is part of the “Big Sister” program and brought two of her little sisters with her, as well. They were both a lot fun. A big thank you to all the models and everyone who helped make it a success! It was nice having a lot of great, talented, and determined photographers show up!

This past weekend I went to Georgetown for my workshop. It was HOOOOT, but it was well worth it to teach with all the cool people that came out. We had a chance to work with two beautiful models (one of which is getting married next week!!!) and three adorable kids. We even went out to grab some food later, but there aren’t any photos of that. Oh, and if you noticed, I’m using my new logo on my photos. What do you guys think?

In all the excitement from the last month, I completely forgot to tell everyone about the seminar back in June. It’s already the end of July! Anyway, it was a lot of fun. Everyone had a great time while Adam and I taught the seminar. A big thank you to all the models and everyone that showed up!

Last Monday, we held a great class with Alison and Robert as our models in Georgetown, so a big thank you goes out to the two of them. We even had someone fly in from Chicago to take the class! Thanks Jeanie, for coming all the way over here! It was really great seeing you. We had an enjoyable time roaming around Georgetown, and at the end of the photo sessions, we all headed to Papa Razzi for some fine Italian wine and some fine Italian dining. Here are some photos so you get a visual of what happened:

The next day, we had a special guest for our critique and lighting class. It was a great experience and we couldn’t have done it with out our guest, Douglas Sonders. He’s a celebrity photographer and he shared some of his knowledge and his images with the class. It was a great learning experience for all of us, not just for the people taking the class, but also for me too, as the instructor. Afterwards, we went out to the Buffalo Wing University for some hot wings. Here’s a photo of the group that went along Tuesday night:

Once again, I’d like to thank everyone for joining our class(es), and Paul for photo-documenting while Adam took a video.
